Description
This is our final release for the game design project required for our course.
Stay tuned for possible further development after the semester is over!
Changes
- Lighting added! (we're now using a colour palette!)
- New menus!!
- Added the option to use "R1" (right bumper) for abilities (especially handy for moving camera while using frost spell!)
- Water puzzle redesigned
- New textures! (More stalactites and stalagmites!)
- Camera fixed (platforming is now ten times more fun!)
- Fog added
- Newly designed particle effects for each spell!
- Improved sun puzzle (GOD RAYS!!!)
- Final platform puzzle is now possible for players of less than excalibur skill level (like me)!
- Mushrooms version 2.0
- Some new SFX
- Also, we now have a trailer!
Bugs Fixed
- Removed flair from mushrooms too close to walls
- Sun room now shows door open when puzzle is solved
- Level overview now shows entire level without going through walls
Known Bugs
- Water at the top of the waterfall won't drown the player
- There's a spot in the water puzzle where if you touch a specific rock, you will die
- Water puzzle sometimes causes frost spell effects to last longer than expected
- Need to lengthen transition between music themes on spell change
- HUD needs an update
