Final Release


Description

This is our final release for the game design project required for our course. 

Stay tuned for possible further development after the semester is over!

Changes

  • Lighting added! (we're now using a colour palette!)
  • New menus!!
  • Added the option to use "R1" (right bumper) for abilities (especially handy for moving camera while using frost spell!)
  • Water puzzle redesigned
  • New textures! (More stalactites and stalagmites!)
  • Camera fixed (platforming is now ten times more fun!)
  • Fog added
  • Newly designed particle effects for each spell! 
  • Improved sun puzzle (GOD RAYS!!!)
  • Final platform puzzle is now possible for players of less than excalibur skill level (like me)!
  • Mushrooms version 2.0 
  • Some new SFX
  • Also, we now have a trailer! 

Bugs Fixed

  • Removed flair from mushrooms too close to walls
  • Sun room now shows door open when puzzle is solved
  • Level overview now shows entire level without going through walls

Known Bugs

  • Water at the top of the waterfall won't drown the player
  • There's a spot in the water puzzle where if you touch a specific rock, you will die
  • Water puzzle sometimes causes frost spell effects to last longer than expected
  • Need to lengthen transition between music themes on spell change
  • HUD needs an update
